Chelsea ready for a Krul summer bid

Chelsea are ready to replace Petr Cech with Newcastle's Tim Krul this summer.
The Dutchman, who would cost £15million, has been a huge part of United's top six push this season and saved a Frank Lampard penalty in December.
He would take over as No.1 Stamford Bridge keeper on £90,000-a-week as part of a close-season overhaul which could also see Lampard and Ashley Cole sold or playing bit-part roles.
Roman Abramovich is said to have agreed to finance the Krul swoop despite Chelsea not having a permanent manager installed. Newcastle will not stand in Krul's way if they receive a competitive fee.
Tottenham, another club with an unsettled managerial situation, had fancied Krul but will be priced out by Chelsea's interest and now will turn their attentions to Lyon's Hugo Lloris s they seek competition for Brad Friedel. Both Carlo Cudicini and Heurelho Gomes are likely to leave in the summer.
