Richard Wright is ready to pack his goalkeeping gloves and head for a trial with MLS side San Jose Earthquakes.
The former England keeper has been training with Crystal Palace and almost signed for Blackpool last week - but now he is wanted by old mate Frank Yallop’s club in the States.
Wright can sign for San Jose if he proves his fitness and can sort out a deal. He is due to fly out shortly as his chances of a contract in England slip away - with Palace not needing him on a deal.
