Doncaster looking to Sharp-en up strikeforce

Doncaster hope to clinch a record £1.2million deal for Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp.

Rovers supremo John Ryan has bankrolled the bid to bring Sharp back to the club where he made his name in two spells, including a loan switch last season.

Blades want a Rovers defender thrown in.
