Gudjohnsen will snub Stoke for Sparky

Eidur Gudjohnsen is ready to sign for Mark Hughes’ Fulham on a year-long loan from Monaco today - after turning down Stoke City.
The far-travelled star chose to return to London for the season and team up with Hughes as he left a rival club disappointed for the second window running.
Gudjohnsen joined Tottenham in January despite being close to signing for West Ham - and his Fulham decision came hours after Stoke had closed in on a deal.
The Gudjohnsen camp were in talks with Potters boss Tony Pulis about a one-year loan deal - and paying £1.5million of his massive wages.
Monaco will let Gudjohnsen go after he returned to them following a spell with Spurs. They want a £2m contribution towards his salary and Fulahm are understood to be willing to pay that.
