David James has told Celtic he will see them in London this weekend for talks about a free transfer.
England keeper James, 39, is available on a Bosman after leaving relegated Portsmouth.
He had been due in Glasgow on Monday for talks but pulled out after getting married to childhood sweetheart Amanda Salmon last weekend.
Celtic have since flown to Portugal ahead of the first leg of their Champions League qualifier against Sporting Braga.
But Celtic are then due in London this weekend to play in the Emirates Cup against Lyon and Arsenal.
And James now intends to see Hoops boss Neil Lennon then to discuss a potential switch to the SPL.
James, who has 53 full international caps, is also wanted by Fulham if shot-stopper Mark Schwarzer, 37, leaves for Arsenal.
