West Brom miss the Boat for former Hull midfielder

George Boateng has given up the chance to go to West Brom and signed a deal with Greek side Skoda Xanthi instead.

Boateng, 35, was on trial with the Baggies after being released by Hull City at the end of last season.

He spent time at Celtic without managing to win a contract with them.
