Geovanni set for Hull exit

Geovanni is leaving Hull after being told he can go on a free transfer.
The Brazilian has one year left on his £30,000-a-week contract and has attracted interest from Greek sides AEK Athens and Panathinaikos.
"I would imagine Geovanni would prefer now not to play in the Championship," said head of football operations Adam Pearson. "He's a top level footballer and I would expect that to go through within the next seven days."
Pearson also hopes to get £45,000-a-week top earner Jimmy Bullard off the wage bill and the midfielder is talking over a loan move to Celtic.
"Celtic and ourselves are pretty happy with it and Jimmy has gone off to have a little think about things," he said.
And in a further boost to debt-ridden Hull, Kevin Kilbane has agreed to a 50 per cent pay cut on the remaining year of his £26,000-a-week contract.
