Tottenham are readying a £9m January move for Blackburn's exciting forward Junior Hoilett, according to reports.
The 21-year-old Canadian has been stalling on signing a lucrative new deal with relegation-threatened Rovers and it is claimed the Ewood Park club are beginning to accept he will move on.
Harry Redknapp is targeting Hoilett to boost his side's chances of returning to the Champions League, says The Independent.
He is said to have been offered a huge pay rise by Blackburn, making him one of the highest-paid players in club history, but has been put off by their insistence on inserting an £18m release clause in his contract.
Hoilett would be free to leave Ewood for nothing in the summer and though Rovers value him as highly as Phil Jones, who they sold to Manchester United for £16.5m in summer, they may be forced to settle for as little as £9m in January.
