City deal to unload Jo collapses

Manchester City's hope of unloading Brazilian misfit Jo to Real Sociedad are over.
Sociedad were interested in signing the £19million striker, who has been a complete flop at Eastlands, but president Jokin Aperribay claims their chances of completing the deal are "very, very scarce".
Aperribay said: "It's not a closed case, but it's complicated for him to come to Real now and we're working on other alternatives because the possibilities of that negotiation being successful are very, very scarce."
Jo does not figure in Roberto Mancini's plans and was loaned to Everton in 2009 before spending part of last season at Galatasaray.
