Berbatov will not leave Man United in January, says agent

Dimitar Berbatov will definitely not be leaving Old Trafford in January, according to the player's agent Emil Dantchev.

Rumours have been circulating for the past week that Juventus were ready to tempt Manchester United with a big-money bid for the Bulgarian , or even a part-exchange deal that would see goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon move the other way .

However agent Emil Dantchev moved quickly to quash such speculation.

"There's nothing to say. He will stay in Manchester," he said.

"All the talk of a move is false."
