Man United will not loan out Macheda, says agent

Federico Macheda's agent claims the young striker will not be going out on loan.

Macheda is a top loan target for a host of clubs, including Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Bolton, since exploding on to the Premier League stage with Manchester United 15 months ago.

However the Italian striker's representative Giovanni Bia claims Sir Alex Ferguson wants to keep him at Old Trafford next season.

"Manchester have no intention of sending him out on loan to anyone and for this reason I exclude any possibility of him being transferred in this transfer window," he said.
