Boro in talks with Bhoys former skipper

Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan is in talks with Celtic’s former skipper Stephen McManus about a £500,000 move.

The Scotland centre-back is trying to sort out personal terms as Strachan raids his old club for yet another player.

McManus is willing to move despite the appointment of Neil Lennon as manager and will add steel to the Boro defence.
