Newcastle plan loan move for Man City star

Chris Hughton wants Vladimir Weiss to join the Toon Army on loan.

The Newcastle boss is making a second attempt to take the Slovakian World Cup winger to St James' Park after losing out to Bolton for him in January.

Weiss's first-team prospects remain limited at Manchester City and Hughton feels Newcastle will be more attractive to Weiss now that they are back in the top-flight.

Hughton also wants to sign Manchester United duo Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley on loan.
