Bolton to beat La Liga giants to strikers signature

Bolton boss Owen Coyle is set to sign Spanish striker Rodrigo Moreno today – despite a bid from La Liga giants Villarreal.
Coyle has agreed a season-long loan deal with Benfica for the former Real Madrid starlet who has been a Wanderers target all summer.
Rodrigo, a star of Spain’s under-19 side, is due to arrive for talks today despite Villarreal approaching Benfica with an offer to take him back to Spain.
The skilful forward, 19, is keen to come to England and team up with his former Real Madrid pal Marcos Alonso. He turned down Bolton for Benfica last month but then found they wanted to ship him out on loan.
Benfica have also said they will honour an agreement with Bolton despite Villarreal coming in with their late move.
