Tony Pulis is lining up a £7million bid for Maynor Figueroa – the defender who stunned his Stoke side from 60 yards last season.

Pulis will bid to sign the Honduras international who found fame with the goal from inside his own half.

Wigan defender Figueroa is certain to leave and Stoke are ready to make an offer.
