Black Cats enquire about another Blackpool star

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has added to Blackpool’s woes by swooping for their Wales midfielder David Vaughan.

In a week when the Tangerines had to deal with fevered speculation about in-form playmaker Charlie Adam, 25, and were fined £25,000 by the Premier League for fielding a weakened team, Bruce has made an inquiry about 27-year-old Vaughan.
