Sunderland plan £4million raid for Stoke striker

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is lining up a £4m bid for Stoke misfit Tuncay.

Bruce will attempt to bring the Turkey striker back to the North-East and save him from his Britannia Stadium misery.

Tuncay endured a difficult season with the Potters after a £5m move from Middlesbrough last summer.

The 28-year-old stormed off down the tunnel three times after being substituted by boss Tony Pulis. And Bruce is now preparing an offer to bring the former Fenerbahce star to the Stadium of Light.
