Redknapp drops Drogba hint

Harry Redknapp has hinted that Tottenham would move for Didier Drogba should he become available this summer.

Speculation is rife that Chelsea will cash-in on their Ivorian striker this summer as Roman Abramovich looks to build a younger squad capable of winning the Champions League.

And Redknapp has come out as a fan of the 33 year-old.

“It’s difficult to say, couldn’t really say that, could I?," Redknapp replied when asked if he like to sign Drogba.

"He’s a fantastic centre-forward – power, strength, he’s got everything. He plays for Chelsea and until they decide otherwise, you can’t speculate about his future.

"But he’s a good player.”
