Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is ready to snap up Turkish striker Semih Senturk in a shock raid that would push Robbie Keane out of the door.
Senturk is leaving Fenerbahce - where his contract is up in the summer - and is due to arrive in London for talks about signing for Spurs in a surprise bargain switch to the Premier League.
The 27-year-old six-footer has been with Fener for the whole of his career but wants to come to England and Redknapp can snap him up for a low fee to boost his option.
Semturk can sign on a pre-contract next month, but he would prefer to move immediately. Spurs could take him for a small fee, which would make it easier for them to offload Keane.
The talented Turk came to fame in Euro 2008 with his swashbuckling displays, scoring a couple of vital goals. However he is not a regular in the national side and only has around 20 caps to his name.
Redknapp is always on the look-out for new forwards and the arrival is imminent, with Turkish sources claiming Semturk is already on his way to London.
