Wigan plot to take Real Madrid star on loan

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez wants to sign Real Madrid reserve keeper Antonio Adan on loan.

Martinez is trying to strengthen his squad and provide quality back-up for injury-prone first choice Chris Kirkland.

Real Madrid may allow 23-year-old third choice Adan to go out on loan if new boss Jose Mourinho has enough faith in Jerzy Dudek as back up to Iker Casillas.
