La Liga giants Real Madrid are taking their status as one of the biggest clubs in the world to the ultimate extreme by building their own island.
The man-made landmass will be constructed off the coast of the United Arab Emirates at a cost estimated to be in the region of $1billion.
As you can see from the pictures above and the video below, the resort boasts a number of attractions to tempt the discerning Madridista, including a club museum and an amusement park.
There will also be a stunning 10,000-seat stadium looking out onto the sea, a marina and yacht club designed to resemble the club's crest, and the world's first hologram football show. Whatever that is.
Fans will be able to stay in a variety of accommodations ranging from bungalows and villas to a 5 star hotel.
Real Madrid President Florentino Perez said: "It is a decisive and strategic step that will strengthen our institution in the Middle East and Asia.
"Real Madrid Resort Island will be a major tourist and sporting center of great dimensions and the highest level. This extraordinary complex will attract millions of people looking for quality leisure services."
