Video: West Ham sign striker David Di Michele and Congolese left-back Herita Ilunga

West Ham have announced the double signing of Italian striker David Di Michele and Congolese international left-back Herita Ilunga, subject to registration at the Premier League.
A statement released on the club's official site explained the lateness of the announcement, given that the transfer window closed at midnight, was due to the release of the players' international transfer certificates.
Di Michele and Ilunga will arrive on season-long loans from Torino and Toulouse respectively with a view to possible permanent transfer.
West Ham also confirmed that they are in ongoing talks with Ghana international Stephen Appiah, who is a free agent and thus not subject to the transfer window deadline.
