WAGS have no place in football, says Sir Alex Ferguson

Sir Alex Ferguson is an agreement with his skipper Rio Ferdinand about the WAGs circus that dogged the England team during the 2006 World Cup.
He doesn't believe such behaviour will be a problem now that Fabio Capello is in charge of the international side, however.
"When I was reading about all these things, I did wonder about what impact it would have when all the players' wives were together," said the United boss.
"If Rio felt that was an encumbrance on the team, I am sure Fabio Capello is quite well aware of it."
"To succeed in football, you must have a certain discipline and make certain sacrifices," continued Ferguson.
"That has always been the case here."
