'He was fine when we sent him to Wales': Harry fuels Bale row

Harry Redknapp has stoked up Tottenham's row with Wales over Gareth Bale by claiming the winger was fully fit when he left White Hart Lane to link up with Gary Speed's side.
The Welsh boss and assistant Raymond Verheijen have both claimed Bale is out of Saturday's Euro qualifier against England because of an hamstring pulled in his right leg while playing for Spurs last week.
But Redknapp said: "I wouldn't have let him go if he had an injury. Gareth played for 90 minutes against West Ham and there was no sign of a hamstring injury. He's not come in after the game and said his hamstrings were tight.
"When he left here on Saturday he went and he certainly wasn't injured. He must have done it with Wales.
"I'm not blaming anyone, it's no-one's fault.
"He's seen our physio and it's only tightness. There's no tear but if he plays and it pings, he's had it."
Redknapp believes Bale will be fit to face Wigan a week tomorrow.
Later, Wales manager Gary Speed played down talk of a rift between himself and Redknapp.
Speed has exchanged telephone messages with the Spurs boss, and says the matter has been put to bed.
"Everything is fine," he said. "It was a misunderstanding that's been nipped in the bud. It's fine."
