Wayne Rooney given paternity leave following birth of son Kai... but it's just one game!

Proud new dad Wayne Rooney will be given tonight off by Sir Alex Ferguson following the birth of his baby boy Kai.

Rooney missed training to be by the side of wife Coleen, who gave birth to the couple's first child at Liverpool Women's Hospital yesterday afternoon.

United striker Rooney will miss tonight's Champions League tie with CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford but will return for Sunday's Premier League trip to Chelsea.
