Wayne Rooney could soon be joined in the Premier League by his younger brother John.
Blackburn and Bolton have both sent scouts to check on Macclesfield’s 18-year-old starlet.
And a serious bid is in the pipeline for the young Moss Rose hitman if he carries on dishing up sterling displays.
Like his big brother, John was on Everton’s books as a kid but failed to make the grade.
He was picked up by Macc and has been slowly nutured by Keith Alexander over the past 12 months.
And he’s looking like a late developer with his talents coming to the fore in recent games.
