Manchester City's Welsh striker Ched Evans is wanted by Cardiff City - as the Arab revolution puts his long-term future in doubt at Eastlands.
Evans won a new contract when boss Mark Hughes first arrived, but his place is in doubt now their new mega-rich Abu Dhabi owners are chasing superstar signings. Cardiff boss Dave Jones is keen to be first in the queue for Evans, with chairman Peter Ridsdale keen to fund a deal.
Evans will find out his Manchester City fate soon, with Hughes now trying to work out how to fit record buy Robinho and new signing Shaun Wright-Phillips into his attack - with Brazil star Jo already arrived.
