Wenger tells young striker: No Championship loan unless you sign new Arsenal deal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants young French striker Gilles Sunu to sign a new deal before he lets him out on loan to the Championship.

The teenage hot-shot is making big strides at the Emirates and Wenger wants him to commit his long-term future to the Gunners quickly.

Sunu, who has played in the Carling Cup this season, is wanted on loan by Blackpool. However Wenger insists that he pens a new deal before he goes.

The youngster is out of contract in the summer and Wenger does not want to risk losing him on a long-term basis if he fancies a move elsewhere.
