West Brom send defender Leon Barnett out on loan

Newcastle United's Shola Ameobi

West Brom have loaned £2.5million centre-back Leon Barnett to local rivals Coventry.

The 23-year-old, who signed for the Baggies from Luton in 2007, has joined Chris Coleman’s side until the end of January.
