West Brom target Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray is lining up a loan swoop for Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck.

Mowbray has already agreed a loan deal for the rookie Arsenal forward Jay Simpson.
