West Ham to sign Kelvin Davis despite Southampton buy-out

West Ham are poised to sign Southampton keeper Kelvin Davis - despite the Saints being finally rescued by a Swiss investor yesterday.

Saints were on the verge of going out of business but the St Mary's crisis club has been bought by Markus Liebherr, a billionaire businessman.
