West Ham close in on Lyon defender

West Ham are set to finalise a move for Lyon defender Francois Clerc.

Clerc, 27, is available on a free transfer having seen out his contract with the French club and is ready to make a move into the Premier League.

The experienced defender has been capped 13 times by France.
