Wigan chase Raul - but not the Real one

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is trying to set up a cut-price deal for Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo.
Martinez needs a forward after Marlon King had his contract terminated when he was sent to prison.
Tamudo, 32, is out of favour at Espanyol, out of contract next summer and the Spanish club are ready to let him go in January.
Portsmouth and Newcastle are also watching developments with Espanyol likely to allow Tamudo to leave in January to any club who pays his wages.
Ex-Spain striker Tamudo, Espanyol’s former captain and record goal scorer, has fallen out with the club’s president Dani Sanchez Llibre.
Hard-up Pompey are also keen because Espanyol are ready to waive the £1million transfer fee to get Tamudo off their books.
