Wigan move in for Wilson Palacios' brother

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is ready to snap up Honduran defender Johnny Palacios - young brother of former Latics star Wilson.
Martinez has sent top scout John Benson to look at the Olimpia right back in action against Peru in Miami tonight and they are poised to pounce for him in the next window.
Palacios junior, 22, has become a part of the Honduras international side that reached the World Cup finals and also features his brother Wilson, Wigan midfielder Hendry Thomas and left back Maynor Figueroa.
Johnny is the fourth member of the family to play for the national side, the youngest survivor after Edwin was murdered by kidnappers.
Wigan know that Palacios may struggle to get a work permit because he has only broken into the side. However his country's current rating is high and he may be a special case.
