Wigan to swap Marlon King for Middlesbrough's Mido

Wigan boss Steve Bruce has signed Mido in a swap for unhappy Marlon King.
Bruce's long-term chase for Mido ended after Middlesbrough agreed to let him go, with fellow striker King going the other way. Both are loan deals with a view to a full-time move.
King was back at Wigan following a fallout with Hull manager Phil Brown, where he had also been on loan.
Mido could be the ideal replacement for Emile Heskey, who will re-join Liverpool.
But Bruce has vowed to stop Antonio Valencia following Wilson Palacios out of Wigan. Manchester United and Chelsea are keen on the winger.
Yet Bruce said: "I am the manager of a club that is always going to lose our better players when the big boys come in. But I won't be losing two players this month, that's for sure!"
