Wilfrid Bouma's Aston Villa season over after horror ankle injury

Wilfrid Boumas's season is over after sustaining a dislocated ankle yesterday.
The Dutch defender was hurt after just 11 minutes of Aston Villa's 1-0 Intertoto Cup victory over Odense.
Aston Villa players turned away in horror as Bouma, 30, suffered the sickening injury following a tackle with Baye Djiby Fall. The Odense player was horrified by the incident and held his head in despair (below).
It was an awful reminder of the injury suffered by Arsenal's Eduardo at Birmingham City back in February.
And the loss of Bouma means that Villa are approaching the new campaign without a right or left-back.
