McCarthy promises to attack champions

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy wants his side to attack Chelsea after admitting he "messed up completely" last season.

Wanderers were hammered 4-0 at Stamford Bridge last November and have not won there since 1979.

But McCarthy is promising a bolder approach from his struggling side tomorrow as they return desperate for points.

McCarthy admitted: "I messed up completely.

"They were flying and we got murdered by them.

"We had five at the back and we conceded an early wonder goal.

"Nobody gives us a chance going back there so why don't we just turn up and have a go at them?"
