Record signing Kevin Doyle was denied a late winner which would have capped an impressive full Barclays Premier League debut for Wolves against Hull at Molineux.
The £6.5million capture from Reading saw his close-range shot somehow blocked on the line by Tigers captain Michael Turner.
Geovanni had given Hull a third-minute lead but Wolves grabbed a deserved point through defender Richard Stearman early in the second half and had the chances to claim victory.
Brown brought on Craig Fagan for Ghilas after 74 minutes. Keogh squandered a golden chance a minute later when he was put clear by Elokobi but scuffed his shot wide of the far post.
Former Wolves player Seyi Olofinjana tried his luck from 30 yards but his weak shot flew straight at Hennessey.
Doyle was denied the winner when Turner blocked his fierce shot on the line.
Dawson was booked for time-wasting when taking a throw as Hull tried to wind down the clock.
