Zambrotta extends Milan deal

Veteran full-back Gianluca Zambrotta has signed a one-year contract extension with AC Milan.
Zambrotta made 24 league appearances with the Rossoneri last season.
A statement from the club read: "AC Milan announces that Gianluca Zambrotta has extended his contract until June 30, 2012."
Zambrotta, a World Cup winner with Italy in 2006, was a member of the Azzurri squad in last month's tournament in South Africa.
The 33-year-old joined Milan in the summer of 2008 from Barcelona.
His contract had been due to expire next summer.
