Zamora double sends Fulham through

Bobby Zamora continued his hot run of form as Fulham defied plunging temperatures in Switzerland to secure their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League at the expense of Group E opponents Basle.
Zamora capped a classic centre-forward's performance with two goals just before the interval in the 3-1 win.
Although Basle set up a nervous last few minutes with a late second, Fulham held out to join group winners Roma - plus the likes of Champions League losers Liverpool, Juventus and Atletico Madrid - in the last 32 of the competition.
Alessandro Cerci struck twice as Roma came away from CSKA Sofia with a 3-0 win, an outcome that means the Italians will be seeded in Friday's draw in Nyon.
Heerenveen were eliminated despite a thumping 5-0 home victory over Group D strugglers FK Ventspils.
Second-half goals from Mika Vayrynen, Viktor Elm, Gerald Sibon (two) and Darryl Janmaat won the game at a canter for the hosts, but it proved not to be enough as Hertha Berlin did the necessary against Sporting Lisbon.
Gojko Kacar's second-half goal was the only one in that match, as Hertha booked their ticket for the last 32 in nervy fashion.
Sporting were already assured top spot coming into the game and kept the German side waiting 70 minutes for the decisive goal.
In Group F, Djibril Cisse struck a late double as Panathinaikos progressed thanks to a straightforward home victory over Dinamo Bucharest.
Ante Rukavina set the Greens on their way with an opportunistic 55th-minute strike before Cisse netted twice in the last 10 minutes to secure all three points for new Greens coach Nikos Nioplias. Sturm Graz finished their woeful European campaign on a high with a 1-0 triumph over group winners Galatasaray, Daniel Beichler scoring the winner.
