Zokora sale to spark Tottenham transfer moves
Published 00:00 09/07/09 By By Football Spy
Spurs last night sold midfielder Didier Zokora to Sevilla to clear the way for Harry Redknapp's summer recruitment drive.
White Hart Lane chairman Daniel Levy ended six weeks of wrangling with the Spanish side when he agreed a £8.65m fee for the Ivory Coast man.
Redknapp is banking on another £10m from Sunderland with the departure of Darren Bent, and is seeking £14m for misfit Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The Tottenham boss fancies Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and a natural left-sider - Atletico Madrid's Maxi Rodriguez.
