The Top 10 worst sporting decisions EVER!
Frank Lampard's disallowed 'goal' during England's 4-1 defeat to Germany was one of the worst sporting decisions of all time.
But where does it rank on the all-time Top 10?
10) 2009: Crystal Palace striker Freddie Sears scores a goal at Bristol City, but the officials award a goal kick
9) 2010: Brazilian star Kaka is red-carded after Ivory Coast sub Kader Keita bumps into him and falls to the ground holding his face in a shameful display of cheating.
8) 2008: Reading striker Noel Hunt’s shot at Watford goes wide - but the officials award a goal.
7) 2010: Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga completed the out which would have given him a perfect game - no hits or base-runners or hits conceded in nine innings. The umpire ruled the base-runner safe
6) 1972: The USSR ended American’s basketball dominance in the Olympics with a winning basket made after full-time had expired..
5) 2002: Brazil’s Rivaldo falls to the ground clutching his face after Turkish player Hakan Unsal kicks the ball at his chest. The Turk is sent off, Rivaldo is later fined a derisory £5,000.
4) 1988: Roy Jones lands 86 punches against 32 landed by South Korea’s Park Si-Hun for the light-middleweight gold medal. The judges gave Park the gold - the ultimate hometown decision as the Olympics were held in Seoul
3) 2009: Thierry Henry’s handball sets up William Gallas for the goal that meant France qualified for the World Cup - and Ireland were out
2) 1986: Diego Maradona’s Hand of God goal for Argentina leads to a heartbreaking World Cup quarter-final exit for England
1) 2010: Frank Lampard’s shot is well over the line, but the Uruguayan officials wave play on as England bow out of the World Cup to Germany
