What are the odds Haye and Klitschko are drawn into a stalemate? Derek McGovern's Bets of the Day

Ukrainian bruiser Wladimir Klitschko is the latest personality to ‘out’ himself as a victim of school bullying.

Maybe we should find the kid who bullied him and get him to fight David Haye.

Klitschko has been appalled by the stunts Haye has pulled in the build-up to tonight’s heavyweight showdown – like wearing a T-shirt with a picture of the giant’s severed head on it – though less so by the birds he has pulled.

Haye put the finishing touches to his preparation for tonight’s contest by sparring with the likes of Michael McIntyre, Ricky Gervais, Dizzee Rascal, Mickey Rourke and Justin Bieber – all of whom were probably bullied at school, but obviously nowhere near enough.

Haye wants to pursue a career as a film star after finishing his boxing career and beating the crap out of Gervais will at least give him more roles to go for, while pleasing the rest of us.

The Brit has maintained he will quit the ring on his 31st birthday – which is October 13 this year – but Hills say they aren’t falling for that.

They are convinced his birthday is on a different date.

Hills offer just evens for Haye to pull on his gloves after blowing out 31 candles on his cake.

The 7-4 they quote for Haye to win tonight’s fight against Klitschko is tempting, but my instinct is to go for the draw – and I always trust my instincts, except when they are wrong.

The archaic scoring system in boxing lends itself to draws and, in a big box-office fight like this, it’s a result the promoters will love.

And you will too, if you get on at 50s.

The great thing about sports betting is you don’t have to have the faintest clue who’s gonna win to make money – and in my case that’s just as well.

Take the ladies final at Wimbledon today as an example.

On experience alone, Maria Sharapova deserves to start favourite against Petra Kvitova.

But only the very brave – or very mulish – would consider her a good thing at odds of 4-7.

But Boylesports have come to the rescue of the undecided with their quote of 7-4 for the final's first break of serve to be after the third game.

I’m not just suggesting to you that you won’t find a better 7-4 shot this year – I’m guaranteeing it.

BET OF THE DAY

I went for a job last week but failed something called an aptitude test.

In my school they didn’t even teach aptitude.

Take 7-4 (Boylesports) that there is no break of serve in the first three games in the Wimbledon women’s final.

Spider-Man movie star Tobey Maguire is being sued for the £200,000 he won at the poker table – because the sucker who lost it had stolen the cash from other suckers.

Convicted fraudster Bradley Ruderman swindled victims in a Ponzi scheme, in which he robbed Peter to pay Paul. Ponzi schemes are despised by all Americans bar those called Paul.

He lost some of his ill-gotten gains to Maguire and now those swindled want the actor to reimburse them.

US legal experts say Maguire will find this one difficult to get out of, though not as difficult as getting out of a bath.

Maguire, who starred in horse racing epic Seabiscuit, has become one of the most feared big names at the poker table, using his years of experience and an ice-cold nerve, but mostly his Spidey sense.

Ben Affleck, star of Pearl Harbor, is also believed to be being sued. Not for his poker skills but for his acting.

In California, private high-stakes poker games are considered a crime, as is Pearl Harbor.
