Get on 4-1 Spurs to finish above Arsenal

You can get 100-1 with bet365 to correctly name the four Carling Cup quarter-final draws today, without even having to name who's at home.

At face value that seems a fantastic bet but that face is a dirty rotten liar because it ain't value at all - the true odds are 104-1.

It's 4-6 for the Carling Cup to be won by a Big Four club. That would be a decent bet if only we knew nowadays who the Big Four are.

Arsenal and Spurs would both claim to be in it - the most fanciful claim since my local MP's expenses.

Those two European Cup-free sides, both still in the Carling Cup (their priority), clash today in a match made 9-2 favourite by Bet365 to produce most Premier League goals.

It's 16-1 for both to finish in the top four, which would be a great bet if it had any chance of copping, and Spurs are 4-1 to finish above their north-London rivals. There's a word for a bet like that - unmissable.
