The Betting Boys are backing Chelsea and Anelka... are you?
Chelsea v Manchester United
When we first looked at this game, it had the feel of Liverpool v Man Utd a couple of weeks ago.
Liverpool winning when everything appeared to point to a United victory.
This time all the talk is of United's fragile defence and Chelsea's superstar twin strike force of Drogba and Anelka.
If Ashley Cole's missus was judging them on X-Factor, you can bet your life we'd be calling then Danelka by know.
Yep, we had the contrary thought for a while but just kept coming back to Danelka. Could United's defence stop them? Answer .. no!
This column takes second place to no-one in our admiration of both strikers. It's just a pity they play for Chelsea.
We noticed that following the ludicrous sportsdirect.com@St James' Park, Chelsea's Ron Gourlay revealed that the Stamford Bridge name was up for grabs. Noclass@Stamford Bridge sounds about right.
Anyway, as someone famously said: goals win games. Yes, a shock we know, but true nevertheless. And that's where Anelka and Drogba come in They have scored 17 between them this season, with Drogba in undoubtedly the best form of his career - nine in nine is testament to that.
We just cannot see any way in which United will stop one or the other from getting on the scoresheet.
New-dad Wayne Rooney will obviously pose a threat. Yet, with Joe Cole back and confidence surging through the side, Chelsea have that look of title winners about them already. A win tomorrow would be a big step on that road and we think it's one they will take.
Nothing can dampen our enthusiasm for Chelsea and the 11/10 available with Ladbrokes looks too good to miss. While you're there have a bit on Anelka to score first. He's a 7/1 chance.
Tottenham v Sunderland
Spurs fans must have seen this all before. One minute they’re going to be a top four team, the next they‘re beaten by Stoke and then outclassed by their bitter arch-rivals.
The way that Harry bristled at the questions from the Match of the Day reporter, show that the pressure is on. They need a result today while Sunderland are the team who can play without pressure and with Darren Bent all fired up, we expect them to come away with a point. The draw is a whopping 14/5 with Blue Square.
Oldham v Leeds
This the first match in FA Cup history to be shown live on the internet. It goes out on the FA's website (www.thefa.com) today at 5.15pm.
This interesting clash brings together Oldham - who are completely out of form - and Leeds - who are massively in form but with a bit of a striker crisis.
Leeds are without Tresor Kandol (banned), Luciano Becchio (injured) and on-loan Sam Vokes (refused permission to play by his club Wolves). But Leeds do still have the prolific Jermaine Beckford and it's that fact that makes us favour them.
Well, that and the other fact that Leeds have scored 13 goals in their last five games compared to Oldham's three. The visitors are a juicy 6/5 with Skybet. Beckford is a standout 11/8 with Boylesports to score at any time in the match
