David Pleat’s Picks for Saturday 31st March 2012

It was a mixed week for me with my Managers Picks last Saturday. If my first week is anything to go by then do the opposite of what I say. I did correctly pick two teams but just missed out on winning some cash. Both Huddersfield Town (20) and Leicester City (24) scored early and it was good to get those two correct but unfortunately my other picks didn't perform and this included Middlesbrough, who I picked instead of Bristol City, at least I tipped goals in this game but alas on the wrong team.

With the season entering the final stages, I think it’s important that teams going for titles, automatic promotion or play-off places, keep the momentum going. There are many teams who are starting to put one or two runs together so I have based most of this Saturday's selections from the 24 Goaldash fixtures with this mind.

Whether you decide to follow my tips or pick your own, you can win £1Million by playing Goaldash for just £1 per play!

My Selections for Saturday 31st March 2012 are:

1 – Arsenal
7 – Brighton
18 – Everton
23 – Ipswich
24 – Leeds
28 – MK Dons

Arsenal – They have won 7 in a row in league and cup and are on a great run. It wouldn’t surprise me if they scored early at QPR.

Brighton – They have a good record at home and seem to be on a good run. Brighton are scoring goals but need to sustain the wins in order to finish in the play-off places.

Everton - Buoyed by their FA Cup this week and they’re in great form so I fancy them to come flying out of the blocks at home to West Brom.

Ipswich – they’re quite strong at home and have won a few games there recently despite Tuesday’s draw with Middlesbrough. I fancy they could score early.

Leeds – They bounced back well last week and need to keep winning to make the play–offs. They’re playing against a hard team in Watford who I think have done marvellously well this season but Leeds is a difficult place to go and Leeds have it within them to beat Watford with an early goal.

MK Dons
– I think Karl Robinson has done a great job at MK Dons and I like the way they play.

Last weekend saw one or two significant results in the Barclays Premier League in terms of the relegation ‘dog flight’. I think it’s now three teams from five for the drop. For me, Bolton and Blackburn have done wonderfully well recently and I think they may just get out of it. That just leaves Wigan , QPR and Wolves .

Good luck with Goaldash this coming Saturday and I look forward to catching up next week.

For your chance to win £1Million with Goaldash , simply pick the 6 teams you think will score the 6 quickest goals from 24 fixtures.

Goaldash is only £1 per play and there is no limit to the amount of times you can play each week.

All matches kick off at 3pm but you must play before 2.55pm. There are some great cash pay-outs for correctly selecting the quickest 3, 4 or 5 teams to score.

Goaldash has given David Pleat a free play and he has kindly offered to donate any winnings to a cancer charity of his choice.
