A Benny Hill-style referee chase, a truly horrible high tackle and more crazy Icelandic celebrations

So farewell Martin O'Neill, erstwhile of the Aston Villa parish. Now unemployment looms for the Northern Irishman, we expect he'll be wondering how to pass the time.

He could indulge his well-known passion for criminology and murderers, or he could have a look at these: the best football-related videos we've found on the internet. That should take care of about 10 minutes at least.

1) This lot again. If there was a European Cup for celebrations, these guys would be bigger than Real Madrid, Manchester United and both Milans combined. They're an Icelandic team called Stjarnan from an area of Greater Reykjavik called Garoabaer (obviously) and you may remember them from such celebrations as 'Catching the Fish' and 'the Human Bicycle'. Here they are pulling out three new ones in a single match including 'the Wind-up Footballer' and, what we've dubbed, 'the miracle of birth'.

2) A chapter from the Graham Poll Guide to Refereeing perhaps? Here a Chilean official who is clearly not happy with simply booking the player, so proceeds to punch him in the face, just to really assert his authority. Although his authority might have taken a bit of a hit when he is forced to run away Benny Hill style when the rest of the team - and the subs - decide to chase him around the pitch.

3) And we finish with what can can only be termed as a neck tackle by Real Madrid's Dutch full-back Royston Drenthe. He seems to be emulating his countryman Nigel De Jong's rather OTT challenge on Xabi Alonso in the World Cup Final. But remember, Drenthe is doing this in a friendly. A friendly!
