1) Being a ball boy is great. You get a pitchside seat, with nobody obscuring your view of the action and if you're really lucky you might even get a touch of the ball once or twice. Also, if you get a spot behind one of the goals, you get the bonus of knowing you're not going to get the ball in your face while watching the match. That's probably what this ballboy thought, until this happened...
