Mad misses, 'orrible OGs, crap keepers and more: 3PM Extra's 20 Funniest Football Fail Videos of 2010

Every weekday, our 3PM Extra feature brings you the funniest and weirdest football fails on the interweb. Here's our selection of the best 20 from 2010...

20) Is this OG by Hajduk Split's Goran Rubil the best/worst you've ever seen?

19) Shades of Dion Dublin and Shay Given here as Villingen's keeper is about to intervene in the 93rd minute of the end of their match against Walldorf Oberliga in the German minor leagues on Saturday.

18) Poor Aiguy, as he's apparently called. The indoor soccer player has just taken a knee to the privates. Luckily, his friends are sympathetic, and stop videoing his agony after just the five minutes of traumatised testicle hilarity... but you can still hear his gonad-related groans in the background. Warning: Understandably strong language.

17) What's the name of that baseball club who have taken over Liverpool again? The Boston Rod Sex, that's it. Good work from the newly-knighted Martin Broughton.

16) Linesmen. There they are scurrying up and down the touchline with their inscrutable stares and over-zealous flag movements. Want to see one trip up, drop his flag and clatter into a hapless bystander? OK!

15) Entering the shocking miss Hall of Shame is Kansas City's Kei Kamara who somehow manages to cock it up when presented the 'goal bag' from fully six inches. No, really... (skip forward to one minute, 23 seconds).

14) A brilliant example of misguided over-confidence here. With the scores locked at 0-0 in a five-a-side match, this cocky chappy stepped up to take advantage of a golden chance from the penalty spot. His elaborate pirouette would have got him full marks on Strictly Come Dancing, but, sadly for him, not the ball in the back of the under-sized net....

13) Oh, they're so skillful in Brazil. Except at the start of this clip from Fluminese v Botafogo in Rio's Carioca Division One.

12) Barcelona are brilliant, yes? Best team on the planet, yes? So there's no way they'd be involved in one of the misses of the season, yes? Er, no...

11) Don't miss this incredible, erm, miss by Borussia Dortmund's Jakub 'Kuba' Blaszczykowski in the 83rd minute of their 2-1 Bundesliga win against Freiburg.

10) Think that was bad? Cue Red Star Belgrade striker Aleksandr Jevtic...

9) Red-hot Norwegian action now, as Viking keeper Arild Ostbo tries to do a Cruyff turn to outwit Aalesund's Tor Hogne Aaroy. It's a partial success.

8) Off to Latvia, where FK Jurmala VV are hosting SK Liepajas Metalurgs. And all looks simple as home skipper Konstantins Macions clears back to keeper Arturs Biezais...

7) This looks too good to be true. But it is...

6) The usual quality of Uzbekistan v Qatar matches was sadly not in evidence here...

5) Worst premature celebration of the year?

4) Well, it was until we saw this one...

3) One of the few good things about England in the 2010 World Cup, this brilliant clip shows Phil Thompson, live from a function in Liverpool, telling Sky how proud everyone on Merseyside is to see Scouser Steven Gerrard captain England. "It's been a great night, everybody's enjoyed it," says the Concorde-beaked pundit. Well, perhaps not quite everybody...

2) Of unknown provenance, this incident apparently occurred in a Brazilian rainstorm. Which might just have made the keeper lose sight of the flight of the ball...

1) Brazilian TV pundit Bastista takes a deep breath around 0:28 of this bit of post-match analysis. What happens next is truly shocking. Luckily, he was OK.
