During the former Crystal Palace boss' entertaining court dispute with his onetime chairman Simon Jordan, his portable PC was examined in court - and lawyers found a document on plans for Charlton titled 'Advancing The Addicks', created three days before Dowie quit Selhurst Park.
That, they discovered, was a rewritten copy of another file called 'Soaring The Eagles' which Dowie had shown at his interview for the Palace job. And another copy existed, ready for a potential interview at Derby, titled 'Reinvigorating The Rams'.
